[edit] Installing the Noise Ninja plug-in on Windows

First if you have any old versions of the plug-in installed or previous failed installs then you need to go to your Photoshop plug-ins folder and remove any existing Noise Ninja or PictureCode folders or files:

Next download the plug-in from here.


After the download is complete double click on the new file to run it. Accept the license agreement and on the installation page click on the browse button and select the Photoshop plug-in's folder and click OK. The Photoshop plug-in's folder is normally located under: My Computer->Local disk (C:)->Program Files->Adobe->Photoshop->Plug-Ins. After you have select the plug-ins folder click Install:

Now restart Photoshop and open an image. Go to the Filter menu. There should be a submenu labeled "PictureCode", with an item "Noise Ninja". Select it to launch the plug-in.

Go to the plug-in's Noise Ninja menu and select "Install or view license" then enter your user name and keycode and click "Install."

If your license is accepted click the "Close" button to close the license dialog. You should not have to enter your license again. If you license is not accepted please try again, be careful to type the user name and key exactly as it was provided to you. The user name is not the same as your real name, be sure to type what was provided to you with the keycode:
