PHOTOSHOP/WINDOWS COMPATIBILITY: This download is only for 64-bit versions of Photoshop CS4 or CS5 running on 64-bit Windows (including 64 bit versions of Windows7, Vista, and XP). Note that all earlier versions of Photoshop are 32-bit applications even when running on 64-bit Windows. 32-bit versions of Photoshop, or 32-bit versions of Windows, require the 32-bit version of Noise Ninja, available here.
NOTE: By default on 64-bit Windows, CS4 and CS5 install both a 64-bit version in "Program Files" and a 32-bit version in "Program Files (x86)". Some users end up running the 32-bit version by mistake. To determine the version you are running, go to the System Info dialog (under the Help Menu) in Photoshop. The first line should display the version number for Photoshop and end with "X64". If you don't see "X64", you are probably running the 32-bit version.
LICENSING: Unlocking the plug-in version of Noise Ninja requires a Home Bundle or Pro Bundle license. If you already have
a Home Standalone or Pro Standalone license, you can upgrade to the corresponding
Bundle edition for $10. See the purchase page for details. You may use the software without a license but
it will run in trial mode where images are marked with a grid pattern
after filtering.

Download and installation instructions
1. Click
here to download the self-extracting zip file (6 megabytes).
2. Double-click on the downloaded file to launch the installer. When the installer asks you for the destination folder, click on the browse button and navigate to the Photoshop Plug-ins folder. This is typically located at c:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop/Plug-Ins. The installer dialog and navigation window is shown in the followings screenshot:

4. Restart Photoshop
and open an image. Go to the Filter menu. There should be a submenu labelled
"PictureCode", with an item "Noise Ninja". Select
it to launch the plug-in. If you don't see the plug-in, make sure you are not accidentally running the 32-bit version of Photoshop CS4. By default on 64-bit Windows, CS4 installs both a 64-bit version in "Program Files" and a 32-bit version in "Program Files (x86)", and some users end up running the 32-bit version by mistake. To determine the version you are running, go to the System Info dialog (under the Help Menu) in Photoshop. The first line should display the version number for Photoshop and end with "X64". If you don't see "X64", you are probably running the 32-bit version.
5. When the plug-in is running, you can access
help, preferences, and license information through the menu bar at the
top of the plug-in window. A PDF version of the help is available in the
"doc" folder.
6. If you have purchased a license, go to the
plug-in's Noise Ninja menu and select "Install or view license"
to unlock the software. You MUST enter BOTH the User name AND Key exactly as sent to you for a valid license. Here is a screenshot of the license dialog:
